After the death of the recent surrogate King, Isabel steps up unto the throne
as Queen of the kingdom of Dammo'dara at only 16. Despite the fact that she is seen as
slightly lunatic, from a strange sense of humor and her slightly-off forms of diplomacy,
near assassinations, a boiling revolution, a grumpy advisory council, partying courtiers,
and the threat of war are the order of the day, Isabel is mostly annoyed by stale crumpets
served in the palace. With so many insurmountable forces against her, will she turn insane...er?

Characters

Isabel Young queen of Dammo'dara who acts carefree
while juggling several threats against her position.

Adila Isabel's lady-in-waiting. A strangely cheerful peasant, with the
innate ability to befriend anyone, compared to Isabel, and herds geese while
accompanying Isabel and her misadventures.
She's usually seen carrying Gazo around.

Gazo The Royal Goose, annointed so by Isabel herself...

Didacus Royal Dog, follows Isabel around, is very
lazy and likes to be pampered--one type of extreme of a king.

Reynard Isabel's upbeat personal advisor.

Aelfred Mysterious supporter of the capital's revolution.

Boris Isabel's personal spy, despite his size.

Dammo'daran High Court
At first very much against their new queen, they gradually soften up.

Lady Wilma The grand courtier reverred by all courtiers.

Lady Vivianna Court beauty.

Lady Natille One of the gossipiest..

Lady Posie Fairly new to the court, Posie is slightly nervous and softspoken,
working hard to follow Natille and Wilma's footsteps.

Lord Vilmos Full of energy, takes advantage of court as a playground for partying.

Laelia Has a love-hate relationship with the higher court due her lack of...reserve.
Most tend to judge her rather harshly, until Isabel realizes that they are not so different...

The Advisory Council
What is italicized in parenthesis is each character's specialization. As a whole they are quite a nasty, contemptuous, and snobby handful for anyone.

Lord Gregers (domestic policy + military) – is the most outspoken and one could say that he is one of the leaders of the grumpy bunch.
Lord Dmitry (foreign policy + military) is the most paranoid. He is suspicious of everything and everyone, and firmly believes in conspiracies.
Lord Garett (statistics + records) - being passionate about math, he is very calculated. Perhaps the most pleasant fellow of the group.
Lord Dewey (agriculture) complains about the weather.
Lord Defrim (economy) follower, random voice.
Lord Gamil (paid his way into position) is ALWAYS neutral on any matter...
Lord Diggory (economy?) large-sized, nervous, and he stutters. He mostly follows group opinion.
